Hazel: Ministry moves beyond textbooks

In recognition of the need to restructure the Texbook Evaluation Committee (TEC), the Ministry of Education yesterday launched the Learning Materials Evaluation Committee (LMEC) to take the evaluation of learning materials beyond textbooks for the first time.

At the launch, held at the Trinidad and Tobago National Commission for UNESCO office, St Clair, Education Minister Hazel Manning appointed 20 members to the committee for a period of three years.
