First anniversary for empowerment fund

Fifty-two small businesses have benefited from the Empowerment for Ownership Small Business Initiative since it was launched last year.

Yesterday marked exactly one year since the Chairman of the Stanford Group R. Allen Stanford presented Prime Minister Baldwin Spencer with a $10 million dollar cheque, launching the initiative geared to encouraging the development of small businesses in Antigua & Barbuda.
