St. Lucia: Water Supply Infrastructure Improvement Project

IDA CREDIT AMOUNT $3.85 million
TERMS: Grace period = 10 years; Maturity = 35 years
IBRD LOAN AMOUNT: $3.85 million
TERMS: Grace period = 5 years; Maturity = 15 years
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Project will support a short term investment program to carry out critical works which are required to (i) alleviate the water shortage in the north of the country, and (ii) implement urgent investments that will result in additional revenues, reduce the likelihood of commercial users abandoning the system and improve the potential of a successful partnership between the government and the private sector.
