Government sets up 'Low Income Housing Benefit'

Leader of Government Business, Hon Kurt Tibbetts, while making his second appearance on HOT 104.1 FM's show Straight Talk reiterated Government's intention to introduce a new mortgage scheme to help people with difficulties in making their initial down payment.

Mr Tibbetts said that the reintroduced mortgage scheme will be available for people who do not qualify for low incoming housing because they make enough money, however, at the same time they do not have the opportunity to save for a deposit.
