Research on Corruption and its Control: The State of the Art
March 3-4, 2006 - Philadelphia, PA





On March 3-4, 2006, the Zicklin Center at the Wharton School of Business, in coordination with the World Bank Institute and the Hills Program on Goverance, will be hosting a conference entitled "Research on Corruption and its Control: The State of the Art".

This conference will feature several lectures by professors from Colgate University, Harvard Business School, New York University Law School, The Wharton School and Yale Law School, among others.

The lectures and workshops will focus on a number of issues related to the causes and effects of corruption, including:

* Corruption and Economic Development (Susan Ackerman, Yale Law School)
* Human Behavior, Trust, and Corruption (Lynn Paine, Harvard Business School)
* Political Corruption (Michael Johnston, Colgate University)
* Business Corruption (Ronald Goldstock, NYU Law School)
