Details: Introduce participants to the issues around and approaches to managing a participatory monitoring and evaluation process. Over a period of four and a half days, participants will examine the evolution of approaches to monitoring and evaluation of social development and be exposed to the various tools, which can be used in different situations, and the strengths and weaknesses of each tool.

The method of working combines presentations, group work and experiential analysisWho is this course for?The course focuses on M&E for people who work within the field of international development. The course is therefore aimed at NGO practitioners, or people who work for organisations, which deal primarily with the NGO sector.

More specifically, course participants comprise:·Managers who are responsible for the monitoring and evaluation of projects and programmes·Practitioners who are interested in exploring the range of tools and issues around participatory monitoring and evaluation
