Till Growth do us apart!

In releasing their latest projections re economic growth, and outcomes for 2007 for member countries, the CDB (Caribbean Development bank) has underlined the facts that:

The economy of St Kitts and Nevis and other borrowing member countries of the Barbados-based Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) showed strong economic growth among its borrowing member countries last year and performances is expected in 2007.

The dynamics/determinants of growth have always been a hot topic in development circles. And by no doubts, in the case of Small-Islands Developing States (SIDS), the primary focus of policies, lay in the capacity to maintain high sustainable growth rates.
And a brief peak into these vibrant fora could help us comprehend the appeals behind policy orientations toward endogenous growth models.
As a matter of fact, in order to capture a broad and comprehensive view of this phenomenon for the region, it seems or rather it is interesting to integrate the determinants of long-term growth, in parallel to variations in the labor force, investments (human and capital), inflation rates, trade policies and technological changes.
