MEL NATHAN INSTITUTE
The Mel Nathan Institute is a human and community development agency of the United Church in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands. The Institute began operating in Hannah Town, Kingston, in 1978. This location at St. John's United Church remains the cradle of the Institute. The Institute is governed by two boards, appointed by the synod of the United Church. The Board of Trustees is responsible for the financial policy and legal aspects of the Institute's operation. The Board of Directors is an operational board and oversees the day to day operations of the Institute.
